The tartness of fresh squeezed lemonade at a county fair. A squirt of grapefruit juice as you cut it open. The orange tint your fingernails get when you peel an orange. The tantalizing taste of Key lime pie.
Citrus fruits are so very versatile, from eating plain, adding to recipes, cleaning products, bodycare and skincare the options are limitless. The benefits are outstanding, high in fiber, low in calories, loaded with vitamin C, vitamin B, potassium, phosphorous, magnesium and copper, plus they are delicious and refreshing.
We use citrus in a few of our products, Healing Lip Balm is made with Lemon essential oil, All skin Beauty oil has Blood orange essential oil, and one of my personal favorites is Bergamot essential oil which is part of the oil blend in our Hemp & Chia line.
Enjoy a super refreshing summer salad .
